I’m an undergraduate student at a University in England. I study Biology and am interested particularly in evolution and zoology and somehow found myself studying more developmental biology.
I often find myself reading about the fascinating bits of biology, about animals (and sometimes plants) that are weird and unusual. This blog came about because I would always find myself telling friends and family about the wonderful stuff that I’d read about, only to receive blank looks or be told to shut up, no one cares. I object! People do care! I find myself reading blogs by interesting people about science and see people comment on it and care. So I figured, why not share the things I find exciting with a wider audience!
Outside of reading and writing about science – and occasionaly doing some science in the lab myself, I enjoy reading good fiction, travelling and hiking/climbing/etc in the great outdoors.
All emails that are offensive will be made public in their entirety.
Some ScienceScout Badges I have awarded myself.
Feel free to ask me questions about them.
Welcome to the sci blogging world, Sam. Many a talented science writers on your side of the pond!
